Woah yikers. I don’t know if anyone is reading this anymore, or if we’ll ever write anymore, or what’s going to happen to this webby siteblog, but we’re back in Minnesota, where it’s hotter than most everywhere we visited in the United States of America, but that doesn’t mean we don’t love it here. It’s nice to know after visiting so many places that we do live in an amazing city and we have amazing friends and we love it here. If you’re in Minnesota and you haven’t heard from us yet, it’s because it’s crazytown for us right now, mainly due to some neglectful tenants who allowed mice to completely take over our garage, thus ruining lots of our stuff that was stored in there and now we might have to buy all new clothes. So sad! Jk. I swear Jacob made it happen; throughout the whole honeymoon, he talked about how he loved to have so little on the road with us and was sad we had so much stuff waiting for us at home.
So we’re living with our very generous friends Carrie and Tory right now, who took care of our mail while we were gone AND snuck into our yard and planted peppers and tomatoes and are awesome! and we’re spending the days cleaning out the mice poo and tee-tee (Kristen’s cousin taught us that word in SLC) and weeding and mowing and then there’s all those outdoor things that Minnesotans do like biking and festivals galore and yay we’re home! On Saturday we went to Rock the Garden, that all-afternoon rock fest at the Walker Art Center, and we got to see Solid Gold (great!), Yeasayers (I don’t remember them), Calexico (I didn’t pay attention) and the Decemberists (not bad!). Here are some pix…
