You'd think with chops like those, he'd be able to fix this in a jiff.

Well, it’s here. The first (hopefully only?) breakdown. We left Blue Spring State Park and about 1/2 mile down the road I noticed that we were in 4-wheel drive, even though I hadn’t turned it on. This had happened a few weeks ago as well, but we figured we must have bumped that button, and we managed to get it back into 2wd. This time we couldn’t get it out of 4wd. We pulled over and looked at our manual, but try as we might, we couldn’t get back into 2wd. We finally tried neutral, but now can’t get out of neutral, which means were kinda stuck here. Luckily, a) it’s warm, b) we have AAA (thanks to kate & iatp!!), c) we wouldn’t mind spending another day or two watching manatees and d) we’re still under warranty, so this shouldn’t cost a penny. Oh, and e) we can poach free internet from some peeps in this hood while we wait for the tow truck to move us. Man, I hope this is an easy fix. Wish us luck!
